Last year’s event, which was the first year the event expanded to nine locations, served more than 2,300 meals to roughly 1,200 veterans. That included 335 meals in Lewistown for 177 veterans and 106 meals for 57 veterans in Mifflintown. ![]() Overall, at least 2,900 meals were served at this year’s event. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Geisinger served the dinners as a drive-through event for the safety of the community and staff.
